David Cowsill is a Research Assistant and Choice Support Worker for the Dewis Choice project. David is an experienced practitioner in the field of mental health, predominantly having worked within a forensic based mental health hospital setting and community-based projects. In previous roles David worked with teenagers from underprivileged backgrounds and teenagers who were victim-survivors of forensic history.

David gained a BSc joint honours in Psychology and Criminology from Aberystwyth University before moving on to post-graduate studies and achieving a MSc in Forensic Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University.
