The researchers at the Centre for Age, Gender and Social Justice are committed to engaging in research that directly involves participants in the design, implementation, analysis, knowledge exchange and further dissemination of research findings. Our research also builds the research capacity of different sectors of the population, and as a result, we have involved over 378 volunteers, aged between 8-92 years
The Centre was established in 2015, since then we have undertaken seven research projects, in addition to the Dewis Choice Initiative, (2015-2021) a prospective longitudinal research study on abuse in later life and justice-seeking which also co-produced a bespoke service.
